By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app. You’re not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Thani Ltd Oy (addressed as Konvos in this document).
Konvos is committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.
The Konvos app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us, in order to provide our Service. It’s your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the app secure. We, therefore, recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the Konvos app won’t work properly or at all.
The app does use third-party services that declare their own Terms and Conditions.

You should be aware that there are certain things that Konvos will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the app will require the app to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but Konvos cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.
If you’re using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, you should remember that your terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data for the duration of the connection while accessing the app, or other third-party charges. In using the app, you’re accepting responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e. region or country) without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you’re using the app, please be aware that we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer for using the app.
Along the same lines, Konvos cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the app i.e. You need to make sure that your device stays charged – if it runs out of battery and you can’t turn it on to avail the Service, Konvos cannot accept responsibility.
With respect to Konvos’s responsibility for your use of the app, when you’re using the app, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we do rely on third parties to provide information to us so that we can make it available to you. Konvos accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app.
At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on Android & iOS – the requirements for both systems(and for any additional systems we decide to extend the availability of the app to) may change, and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. Konvos does not promise that it will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the Android & iOS version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you, We may also wish to stop providing the app, and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must stop using the app, and (if needed) delete it from your device.
Memberships and Subscriptions
Becoming a Member
(a) You may sign up as a registered user of the Products free of charge (a “Member”). To become a Member you need to go to the relevant section of the Products, then submit your first name, last name, and email address to us, and create a password to be used in conjunction with that email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your Device. You may not register for more than one Member account.
(c) By registering for a Konvos account, the Products, you warrant that:
(i) You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;
(ii) All registration information you submit is truthful and accurate;
(iii) You will maintain the accuracy of such information, and
(iv) Your use of the Products does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
Once a Member
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, password, and other User Information and for restricting access to your Device to further help protect such information. You are responsible for updating your User Information.
Use of Konvos by Minors
You must be 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your province, territory, or country, to sign up as a registered user of the Products. Individuals under the age of 18, or the applicable age of majority, may utilize the Products only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, under such person's account and otherwise subject to these Terms.
As a Konvos Member, you will receive access to certain sections, features, and functions of the Products that are not available to non-members. By agreeing to become a Member you may receive an occasional special offer, marketing, and survey communication emails with respect to the Product. You can easily unsubscribe from Konvos commercial emails by following the opt-out instruction in these emails. Konvos membership accounts and subscriptions are not transferable and therefore you agree to not sell, transfer, or exchange membership accounts or subscriptions in any way or under any circumstance. This expressly applies to any discounted, subsidized, or free accounts or subscriptions.
(a) Konvos account holders may access the Products in one way:
(i) Paid Subscription (“Konvos Pro”): a subscription fee-based program, which gives access to all content including and beyond the free offering. You will only have access to Konvos Pro while your subscription is active and subsisting.
You may access Konvos Pro in the following ways:
by purchasing a subscription to the Products from the Website, within the Apps, where allowed by the App marketplace partners, or through a bundle with one or more of our bundle subscription partners. Please note that if you purchase a subscription through the Apple iTunes Store or our iPhone application, the sale is final, and we will not provide a refund. Your purchase will be subject to Apple’s applicable payment policy, which also may not provide refunds. If you purchase a subscription through the Google Play store, the sale is final and we will not provide a refund. Your purchase will be subject to Google’s applicable payment policy, which also may not provide refunds. If you purchase through one or more of our bundle subscription partners, the purchase may be further subject to the Terms and Conditions of such partners, and payment and management of the bundle subscription may be administered by them.
(b) You may access Konvos Pro via a monthly or annual subscription option. For the purposes of our monthly and yearly subscriptions, a month constitutes 30 calendar days and a year constitutes 365 calendar days.
(c) Our “Monthly” subscription is paid in monthly installments. For each month that your monthly subscription is active, you acknowledge and agree that Konvos is authorized to charge the same credit card as was used for the initial subscription fee or another payment method
(d) (the “Payment Method”). The monthly renewal subscription fees will continue to be billed to the Payment Method you provided until canceled. You must cancel your subscription before it renews in order to avoid billing the next month’s subscription fee to the Payment Method you provided. Refunds cannot be claimed for any partial-month subscription period.
(e) Our “Yearly” subscription is paid for by an upfront payment with automatic annual renewals. You acknowledge and agree that Konvos is authorized to charge the Payment Method used for
(i) the initial annual subscription fee at the rate secured at the time of purchase, and
(ii) the non-discounted renewal subscription fee(s).
You must cancel your subscription before it renews in order to avoid billing of the renewal subscription fee to the Payment Method you provided. Refunds cannot be claimed for any partial subscription period.
(f) You agree to promptly notify Konvos of any changes to the Payment Method you provided while any subscriptions remain outstanding. You are responsible for all applicable fees and charges incurred, including applicable taxes, and all subscriptions purchased by you.
(g) In the course of your use of the Products, Konvos and its third-party payment service provider may receive and implement updated credit card information from your credit card issuer in order to prevent your subscription from being interrupted by an outdated or invalid card. This disbursement of the updated credit card information is provided to Konvos and Konvos’s third-party payment service provider at the sole election of your credit card issuer. Your credit card issuer may give you the right to opt-out of the update service. Should you desire to do so, please contact your credit card issuer.
(i) Our obligation to provide the Products only comes into being when we take receipt of your Order, and we confirm your purchase to you by email. We shall confirm your Order and send you an email to confirm your access to the subscription purchased. Please quote the Order number in all subsequent correspondence with us. Prices in US Dollars and Euros include local taxes. All prices in Pound Sterling include VAT unless otherwise stated. You agree not to hold us responsible for banking charges incurred due to payments on your account. If payment is not received by us from the Payment Method you provided, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand by us. You agree that you are not permitted to resell any Products purchased through Konvos for commercial purposes.
Changes to This Terms and Conditions
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
(a) Konvos is a provider of online and mobile journaling content in the health & wellness space. We are not health care or medical device provider, nor should our Products be considered medical advice. Only your physician or other health care provider can do that. While there is third party evidence from research that journaling can assist in the prevention and recovery process for a wide array of conditions as well as in improving some performance and relationship issues, Konvos makes no claims, representations or guarantees that the Products provide a physical or therapeutic benefit.
(b) Any health information and links on the Products, whether provided by Konvos or by contract from outside providers, is provided simply for your convenience.
(c) Any advice or other materials in the Products are intended for general information purposes only. They are not intended to be relied upon and are not a substitute for professional medical advice based on your individual condition and circumstances. The advice and other materials we make available are intended to support the relationship between you and your healthcare providers and not replace it. We are not liable or responsible for any consequences of your having read or been told about such advice or other materials as you assume full responsibility for your decisions and actions. In particular, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representation or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the advice, other materials and information published as part of the Products.
(d) There have been rare reports where people with certain psychiatric problems like anxiety and depression have experienced worsening conditions in conjunction with intensive journaling practice. People with existing mental health conditions should speak with their health care providers before starting a journaling practice.
These terms and conditions are effective as of 2021-08-26
